Guys,
Here’s my view on the most anticipated film in recent times “JODHAA AKBAR”.
Cast and Crew of this film need no introduction. It’s the ultimate you can have for a period film. So let’s straight away go into the detail in brief J
JA is an excellently directed film. The length of film runs into around 3 hrs 20 min but at no point of time you will feel bored. In a period film made on such a grand scale with perfect casting and with so much detail taken into making of film, keeping the audience engaged all through the film is amazing. It’s an awesome writing by Ashutosh.
Hrithik steals the show with a terrific performance once again. His amazing Screen Presence leaves you spell bound. I watched the film on one of the World’s largest screens and still in every frame of his he makes us feel wowwww. Ash looked gorgeous and their chemistry sparkles on screen. The film is also basically about the chemistry between the two lead roles and it comes off well.
Music as said earlier is eternal. It just complements the movie. Ashutosh used Rahman’s music brilliantly and Rahman will sure feel proud after watching the movie. The way “Mann Mohana” song comes thru the first half is amazing. And the picturization of “Khwaja Mere Khwaja” and “Azeem –O-Shehenshaah” is never seen before in Indian Cinema. It doesn’t surprise you watching Akbar dance at the end of “Khwaja Mere Khwaja” song bcoz the song itself is so haunting that anyone just gets moved by it.
Background score needs a special mention as the genious himself said how much he spent his time in making it happen. Just listen to it when titles roll on screen at the start…….when battle of panipat happens…..during the sword fight between Jodhaa and Akbar……the way in which “Mann Mohana” and “Jashn-E-Bahaara” tunes are used……its stamp of the genious all over.
So guys watch this Magnum Opus as it’s a special film for Indian Viewers…we don’t get to watch such kind of films frequently…they come once in a while…and god what a film it turned out to be….so grand…so rich…so romantic….
Have a nice time guys
